LG Electronics Tone+ HBS-730 Bluetooth Headset is quite a good device if you are not concerned with the quality of sound. If you plan on being away from your phone on a regular basis, and are predominately using this device for work calls--this is probably the device for you. It is also a good device if you plan on just listening to audio books (like myself), or you don't mind your music sounding dampened. The output data of the device you connect it to is going to be a major factor in the quality of the sound from these headphones. Good quality output will result in a satisfying audio experience, especially if the device is capable of aptX. For listening to music, watching movies, or other use of stereo sound, you might be surprised to realize that this is Bluetooth.

LG Electronics Tone+ HBS-730 Bluetooth Headset is great for sound, and for the user that has their phone continually on their person. As long as your phone is with you--it has all the pros and none of the cons of the 700.

I really wanted to stay away from this headset after reading the reviews here, so many negative experiences. I just decided to give it a shot since I know someone who had the previous version of these and has had a great experience. If I didn't like it, I would return promptly. So, I have an Iphone 4, and when I received these I immediately paired it with my phone. No problems. Next, I tried to play a few songs from my Itunes, worked fine. I also played a few stations from Slacker radio (GREAT internet radio app) and everything sounded great.

I have a couple buddies at work that both have the previous hbs-700 model and they both really like them. I'm on and off a forklift and use one ear bud while I'm on it to listen to music. Using corded headphone is a pain, the cord always gets caught and will tug on my ear. The thought of cordless freedom made me want to get a pair of these bad! Well I got online to order them and saw that there was this new model. I usually read lots of reviews before making a decision and well.... it took me a couple of weeks and I finally pulled the trigger on the 730 model. That's even after reading a few reviews about it not working specifically with the iPhone 5. Also the fact that the iPhone 5 doesn't support Aptx really made me think I shouldn't order the new 730 model. It was basically the same price as the 700 and amazon has such a good return policy I thought I would give the 730 model a try. Glad I did and that's why I'm writing this review, to give other iPhone 5 users a review to go off of. I usually keep my phone right with me so the distance it works away from the phone isn't a big deal but every once in awhile I walk away from my desk in an open warehouse and I would say it'll go a good 30' before cutting out. I also tested it in all my jean and jacket pockets and no issues with cutting out. One small complaint that other people have also mentioned is the magnets could be a little stronger to hold in the ear buds when not in use. The buds when in use do however stay in my ear good so very happy there. While talking with people everyone has said they can hear me good and it's clear. On my end I haven't had any complaints either, one night in a store it was cutting out but my reception is usually not very good in there anyways. Also I wanted to mention I used them while my 5 was using iOS 6.02 and now I'm using them with iOS 6.1, still working good. If I have any issues I will surely update this review but I wanted to post this so others with iPhone 5's won't be as apprehensive about at least trying them. I've had an iPhone since the 3GS and now have the 5 but Apple not including Aptx has really disappointed me but at least these headphones still sound good!
